The fifth edition of "GROTowisko" [PHOTOS]

The theoretical portion of the training took place on June 14th of this year in Zegrze, and the practical portion took place the following day, June 15th, at the Bellona Marynino shooting range. This was the fifth time that the Territorial Defense Forces (TDF) command, in cooperation with the Łucznik Arms Factory in Radom, had organized such an event. The Chief of the TDF, Brigadier General Dr. Krzysztof Stańczyk, attended.

As mentioned, soldiers from the 20th Przemyśl Territorial Defense Brigade also participated in the event. This allowed them to gain information on the Radom-based "Łucznik" (Łucznik) rifle's latest offerings, the latest versions of the "Grot" rifle, which is the primary firearm of Territorial Defense Force soldiers.

During the first day, conference participants in Zegrze had the opportunity to review the conclusions from last year's edition, compare the effectiveness of using a rifle with a holographic sight and an enlarger with a rifle with a prismatic sight, learn about the evolution of the weaponry at the Radom arms factory, and analyze experiences with weapon operation and maintenance. The competition consisted of two parallel parts: a military one, in which only soldiers participated, and a civilian one, in which sport shooters and firearms enthusiasts participated.
